Yeh got the email.

True the smileys here are refined I have missed them.

In fact. It's hard for me to use text and not rely on them (like now)- oh yeh brackets, my other forum thing.

They were hand-picked.

I encourage people to start their own threads, here or in the Psyche & Para-Self area if it's more personal sharing. Follow Vic's example and exploit the space. Mi casa es su casa.

Mr.P here,

Since last week I have been assembling (mainly in my head) a story that starts with a cryogenic awakening. So seems this synchprecog* thread is worth following --also it's not the first one with Mr.K :)

Very busy these days but I'm keeping an eye here

best

Mr.P

*just coined "synchprecog" (no google search results), inspired by Eric Wargo's model on synchronicities, which I think it's great.

Hi, my name is Jason and I'm a sex addict.

Well, I think that's a little harsh, and one dimensional in terms of labels. Surely there's more to me than that? Even if it's another load of shit.

It is, however, how most people introduce themselves during SAA (Sex Addicts Anonymous) meetings.

I attended one in London, listened to some testimonies, read quite a bit of literature, and eventually decided it was probably a bit extreme for own predicament - a long term relationship with using pornography.

This used to be married with hard and soft drug use, though I'm relieved to say that part of my history was over a year ago now.

Last year also saw the most progress in terms of ditching the smut and cigarettes too, those two would also go hand in hand (forgive the pun). So a new year has dawned along with some fresh resolve.

Jasun invited me to contribute in this forum, so here I am; willing to intimately explore one of the great taboo's in society and it's effects.

Thanks......

Hi Mr. P (one of the longest-term participants ever, from back in the pre-SWEDA* days of forum-ing).

Welcome, Jason, and thanks for the bold intro. I suggest starting a thread for that. If you do, you might want to use the Psyche area since it's so personal.
(Next thing we know we'll be going private again.... :det; )

Pleasure Jasun.

Your detective agency quip reminded me of Dirk Gently, so I'll attempt to set up a new interconnected post elsewhere...

Hi all,

Just checking in as per your request, Jasun. I've been enjoying your blog and podcast for the better part of a year now, and have always intended to participate more despite my lurker tendencies.

It's just so much more convenient to consume than to contribute...

I've set a firm intention to take part, though, for better or for worse, so who knows...

Hi Jasun and Jason,

the mention of SWEDA gave me a warm glow. . .

Hi Aaron, I have seen you lurking for some time now (so I guess you must have blog-commented or emailed or something?).

Glad you took the crucial step through the non-existent 4th wall.

Hail Steve. Happy to see you here, especially when you are warm & glowing.
